The John Ellem Memorial Award, the most prestigious award given at the Chelsea Little Athletics Centre, is presented to the athlete that achieves the greatest number of Personal Bests in a season. The award is named in honour of Chelsea Little Athletics Centre Life Member and LAV (VLAA) Life Governor, John Ellem. Sadly, John passed away on 30 July 2017 and the centre is proud to have this award named in his honor. The award can be attained by any athlete irrespective of ability, and concentrates on the core values of Little Athletics which are to have fun and be the best you can.
